Rosatom’s wind energy projects represent a strategic direction in the development of low-carbon energy.
In 2019, the company Lagerwey, in consortium with Rosatom, implemented large-scale wind farm projects in the southern regions of the Russian Federation, including the Republic of Adygea, the Stavropol Territory, and the Rostov Region.
The total installed capacity of these wind farms has already exceeded 1 GW, contributing to the reduction of carbon dioxide emissions and the diversification of the national energy mix.
